January 2018
This is just a short intro to explain what this website is and what I will be posting about. Also, by writing this I am much more likely to actually put the website live rather than keep pushing it back.
I have sat with this domain for over a year at this point, and it has always been at the back of my mind to create a blog. The main holdup has been that I am not a designer. This left me with a couple of options, none of which I fancied too much:
In the end, I was browsing r/webdev and seen a post about an interesting new CSS framework which caught my eye; Bulma. This looked like it would be a nice alternative to using the likes of Bootstrap or similar. So, I decided to give Bulma a test, and now here we are!
I will be posting my thoughts on Bulma in upcoming articles. In addition to this, you can expect this blog's topics to be PHP heavy, as this is what I work with daily. There will also be topics relating to HTML, CSS, JS, general web & tech stuff, Raspberry Pi's etc.
In regards to the blog itself, I have many plans for it and expect it to change significantly over time. This current iteration is pretty much for me to get it out the door, to make sure it is public which will provide me with more incentives to update and improve it over time.
Well, that will do for an introduction post. I will have my first real article up at some point this week. If you want to find out a bit more about who I am and what I do, check here. In the meantime, it would be great if you could give the website a bookmark, or connect with me on social media using the buttons below.
Cheers!
